The Galileo Open Air Cinema has become synonymous with the start of summer in Cape Town.
Its screenings offer unique entertainment for both locals and tourists, and an opportunity to take advantage of our beautiful locations and vistas.
The evening begins with a display of hospitality, organisation and all-around charm as the Galileo crew offers warm welcomes, escorts guests to available spots on the lawn and assists with picnic setups.
The main screening area is encircled by refreshment stations adorned with fairy lights. As the sun sets sail and the light dims the warm globes create a magical ambience.
Bring your own picnic or arrive hungry and enjoy a pre-movie meal prepared by local artisanal food vendors. Delicious pizza, juicy burgers, tasty wraps, popcorn and other yummy snacks are available.
