‘It’s been amazing to be back in the Mother City where it all started for us; [the] 2023 edition showed our team there is a massive pull for quality Action Sport within Cape Town saying that – everyone was stoked with the festival and move from the African bush to the inner streets,’ says Event Director Markus Müseler.
This year, attendees can expect to be immersed in fierce competition and the dynamic vibe of action sports culture.
‘In the 2024 edition, one can expect even bigger listed athletes, a huge arena BMX park and skate plaza with our brand partner’s experiences, finished off into the music element with a major act,’ Müseler adds.
The 2023 edition saw South Africans Boipelo Awuah and Devandre Gallant secure victory in the Women’s and Men’s Skate competitions, captivating a sold-out crowd.
The BMX competition featured an all-international podium, with Anthony Jeanjean (FRA), Daniel Sandoval (USA), and Mike Varga (CAN) showcasing their skills.
