The Franschhoek Valley is gearing up for the return of its annual highlight, the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival, this weekend.

Get ready for a weekend filled with exquisite bubbly, fantastic music, and the chance to showcase your fashion finesse at this unmissable event.
Presented by Sanlam Private Wealth, the 2023 festival promises two days of pure indulgence set against the backdrop of the historic Franschhoek Huguenot Monument.
South Africa’s premier acoustic rock band, Watershed, will be gracing the stage on Saturday, ensuring a musical experience that steals the show. In addition, local radio host Leigh-Anne Williams will take on the role of the event’s lively MC.
DJ Charles Lusengo, hailing from Johannesburg, will also keep the vibes alive with his live DJ set featuring a fusion of Latino, house, and beach club beats.
The venue is renowned for its laid-back garden-party ambience, setting the stage for a memorable weekend. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the classic white and blue dress code with a touch of silver, adding a distinctive Franschhoek flair to the affair.

Each entry includes a glass champagne flute and 10 tasting tokens for all the Cap Classiques on show as well as select champagnes. There will also be an array of champagnes available for purchase, either by the glass or bottle.
In accordance with South African law, no under-18s will be allowed into the event.
