In its 46th year, the Cape Town Cycle Tour remains a standout event on the City’s calendar, drawing 30 000 riders each year.
Beyond the thrill of the ride, this iconic event serves a greater purpose by supporting two key causes – the Pedal Power Association and the Rotary Club of Claremont.

Funds raised go towards social upliftment projects and the promotion of cycling and safety initiatives.
The 109km classic route, renowned as one of the world’s most scenic mass-start bike races, winds through the city’s picturesque landscapes, starting at Table Mountain and concluding along the Atlantic Seaboard in Green Point.
Since 2023, a 42km route has been added to the festivities, inviting a broader range of cyclists to Africa’s largest cycling celebration.
