The Ultra South Africa music festival has revealed its impressive artist lineup.

The 9th edition of South Africa’s largest electronic dance music festival will feature popular artists such as Skrillex, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Vintage Culture and W&W as headliners, and Major League DJz and Shimza as supporting acts.

Skrillex, Afrojack and Steve Aoki are some of the biggest names in the global EDM scene, and they are popular festival performers. Major League DJz, a South African amapiano duo, also performed at Black Coffee’s historic Madison Square Garden show.
The EDM festival will take place on 1 March 2024, at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town, and on 2 March 2024 at the Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg.
Tickets for the Johannesburg edition range from R1 095 to R2 500, while those for the Cape Town edition range from R895 to R2 000.

The South African festival, which debuted in 2014, is part of Ultra Music Festival’s global expansion, which now spans 20 countries. After a three-year hiatus, the festival announced its return in 2023.
