The accessibility travel guide, Able2Travel, visited Kunjani Wines to test its accessibility, and the establishment came out tops for inclusivity.
Tarryn Tomlinson, Able2Travel’s founder and travel consultant, said the property checked all the boxes. The tables are a bit higher to accommodate a wheelchair that can easily roll underneath them. The bathrooms are fully accessible, and there is a lift from the parking lot.
Tomlinson said, ‘Kunjani Wines is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner but I prefer lunch. Ending the day watching the sunset with fabulous conversation and fine wine has to be one of my favourite things to do.’
Take a road trip out to Stellenbosch to see their lush vineyards for yourself. Say ‘hello’ and ‘kunjani’ over a glass of wine and a meal with friends and family at the estate’s restaurant. For those who want to linger longer, cottages are available at affordable prices.
