The family of a young Robertson girl is praying for her safe return while police search to find her.

As reported by TimesLIVE, Shariefa Adams was last seen leaving her home to walk to a nearby shop last Friday. She was reported missing on Monday, in hopes she would return home on the weekend.

Adams is a pupil at the Dagbreek Primary School, where the principal visited her family to offer comfort. “Let’s pray that God would keep this little girl safe,” her school said in a Facebook post.

The 12-year-old was last seen wearing a nightgown dotted with little red hearts.
