A Kraaifontein family have been left devastated after a four-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a five-year-old on Wednesday.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are part of an ongoing investigation, however, various reports have stated that the two children were neighbours. The object used in the incident could not be confirmed by the police.
According to News24, the children were playing with friends when the incident occurred. Screams from the children could reportedly be heard, after which the young boy was rushed to the nearest hospital.
Unfortunately, the toddler died en route.
