Clinics that assist people in terminating pregnancies have officially been deemed essential services amid the nationwide lockdown.
Those choosing to terminate their pregnancy or in need of other sexual health services will be able to access them in line with lockdown regulations.
Marie Stopes South Africa clinics will be readily available to those in need of such services.
The services are within regulations and clients will be sent a letter confirming their appointment which will need to be shown to authorities if they are stopped while enroute.
