The body of an 18-year-old male, believed to be the missing fisherman washed up at Soetwater on Saturday morning.
On Thursday, it was reported that one fisherman had lost his life, while another remained missing at sea after their rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) capsized near Slangkop Lighthouse, Kommetjie. A third individual managed to swim to safety and subsequently alerted authorities.

According to police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, Ocean View SAPS responded to a complaint of a male body that had washed ashore at around 10am on Saturday.
The identity of the body was later discovered to be that of the missing fisherman of the drowning incident that occurred earlier in the week at Kommetjie, Ocean View.
The body was removed by state forensics personnel and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
