The City will be carrying out important electricity supply maintenance today and advises residents of supply interruptions in the Lansdowne area.

The necessary maintenance work will be carried out from 8am to 4pm as well as Tuesday next week.

Electricity supply disruptions may occur when the work begins this morning and when the maintenance is finished this afternoon. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Residents are advised that while the work is being carried out, they will have electricity supply and will not be affected by stages of loadshedding.

Residents are also advised that there is a chance of electricity supply tripping when the work is completed and they are urged to be patient while this critical maintenance is being carried out.
In the event of an electricity supply area tripping after the maintenance has been completed, residents may experience a supply interruption and the City’s teams will work to restore supply as quickly as possible.
