Due to the complex nature of the infrastructure work, supply will be interrupted and the restoration time may be ‘delayed by a few hours’.
The City has stated that their teams will work as quickly as possible to complete all upgrades within the communicated time of 8am to 8pm.
The City has also further advised that residents should ‘treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the interruption’, as the electricity supply could be restored at any time.
Residents are also encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution to ‘avoid damage caused by power surges’ when the power comes back on.
