Despite the new COVID-19 variant doing its rounds in Gauteng and spiking up cases, the Ballito Rage confirmed that it would still be taking place between November 30 – December 5.
Organisers are relying on information, guidelines and mandates from the government and national and local departments of health relating to COVID-19, according to IOL.
Furthermore, DFA reported that Ballito Rage has all available COVID-19 safety precautions in place as well as a no vaccine, no-entry rule. All attendees and staff must be fully vaccinated and show a digital proof of vaccination, which will be verified before entry is granted.
