Kommetjie Road in Fish Hoek has been temporarily closed at Carlisle Lodge due to a main water line burst.

Councillor Aimee Kuhl says the structural integrity of the road has been compromised.
Law enforcement and traffic personnel are currently on-site managing the situation. A contractor has also been enlisted to carry out the necessary repairs.
Kuhl adds that the repair process is ‘a big job’, and that the road will remain closed for a major part of today.
