Councillor Rob Quintas, the City’s Mayco member for urban mobility, says new residents and development have taken a toll on the existing infrastructure in Hout Bay. ‘It gives me great joy to see this investment in our roads and I would like to thank road users, residents and businesses for their patience and support while we are working on improving the road network in Hout Bay.
‘I want to caution that there will be some inconvenience such as delays, a bit of noise and congestion in some parts. It would be advisable to take alternative routes wherever possible until this project is completed for the benefit of our ward.’
