A man’s body was found on the rocks adjacent to the catwalk at St James Beach in Cape Town on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk said the discovery was made shortly after 8:30am by a member of the public.

‘The deceased was clothed in a black shorts and brown striped jersey and is approximately 35 years of age,’ said van Wyk.
‘The unidentified male was declared dead on the scene.’
The South African Police (SAPS) has opened an inquest docket.
