The pair were reportedly shot while still in their vehicle at King Langalibalele Drive near a local retailer. CATA spokesperson Nkululeko Sityebi says the motive for the attack is still unclear. ‘It has become a norm for our members to die from bullets in Langa. Two months ago, some of our members were gunned down in the area. Even now, as leaders of the association are trying to ascertain the main cause of these shootings.’

‘Upon arrival at the crime scene, they found the bodies of two males inside a white double cab Toyota Hilux who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies. The victims were declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel.’
No arrests have been made.
