Table Mountain National Park is reportedly aware of the tree vandalism incident that took place in the Newlands Forest section of the park. According to SANParks, a further nine trees were vandalised on Friday, 4 March.

“It is completely unacceptable for users to damage or bark strip these endangered trees. If anyone has more information on this specific incident please email [email protected],” says SANParks.
Further patrolling will be conducted in the area to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
