Most recently, the City’s mayoral committee member for human settlements, Councillor Carl Pophaim, and officials in the City’s Human Settlements Directorate handed over 244 new homes to Valhalla Park beneficiaries.
‘I am overjoyed to have handed over more than 200 new homes to our Valhalla Park beneficiaries – this is delivery in action,’ said Councillor Pophaim.
‘We are not afraid to stand up to the challenge and deliver opportunities to our beneficiaries in all areas of the metro that we serve and we will continue to move mountains to ensure that we meet our redress, empowerment and service delivery agenda.’
