Motorists can expect to pay a little extra for petrol and diesel from tomorrow, Wednesday, 1 February 2023.

The price per litre of petrol and diesel will increase by at least 42 cents and 36 cents, respectively. This price adjustment is due to a steadily weaker rand and the rising cost of Brent crude.
In an ENCA interview, Layton Beard from the Automobile Association explains that the demand for oil has increased since China, which is the world’s largest oil consumer, opened up its economy after strict lockdown restrictions.
