According to police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg, a search conducted at the first premises in Drommedaris Street uncovered 31 rounds of ammunition and 428 mandrax tablets wrapped in a plastic bag.
‘At the second address, the members found 210 mandrax tablets and 11 small packets containing crystal meth in a plastic bag,’ said Twigg.
‘The estimated street value of the drugs is R20 000.’
Twigg added that the two males were arrested on charges of possession of drugs and illegal possession of ammunition.

The arrests follow shortly after an intelligence-driven operation between the public order police, metro police and other governmental departments led to the arrests of another two people for the possession of crayfish in Hout Bay on Monday evening.
A search of an identified premise in Atlantic Skipper Road uncovered 402 crayfish and 6 250 crayfish tails.
The suspects, aged 34 and 37, were arrested for illegal possession after they failed to produce a permit, said Twigg. The crayfish and crayfish tails were subsequently confiscated.
The two males are expected to make their court appearance this morning, 2 May.
