South Africa’s International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor has condemned Israel for ignoring the International Court of Justice’s order to prevent further deaths in Gaza.
Last Friday, the ICJ issued a ruling that ordered Israel to take the necessary measures to prevent genocide in Gaza.

Although the court expressly drew attention to the current harming and killing of Palestinians, hundreds more Palestinians have been killed since the ruling.
Pandor, speaking to the media, emphasised the need for a ceasefire, urging people to push for a two-state solution. She also suggested exploring alternative measures to prevent further destruction in Gaza.

‘I believe the rulings of the court have been ignored by Israel. Hundreds of people have been killed in the last three or four days, and clearly, Israel believes it has a license to do as it wishes,’ an EWN report quoted her as saying.
‘We are going to come to a point where we have to think: what are we going to do to stop such acts occurring? Not just with Israel, but any party in the world.’
