Standard bankers were subjected to multiple service impacts which were flagged on Sunday afternoon. The bank confirmed that its mobile app, internet banking, credit cards, points of sale, and ATM services were disrupted on Sunday afternoon, shortly after 1pm, due to “technical errors”.

“Please use your Debit Card to transact in the interim. We are working urgently to fix this issue and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
According to the banks’ service status site, faults lasted about three hours, but are now reportedly all in working order.
“We can confirm that all of our services have now been restored and are all working as per normal. We would like to sincerely apologise to all our clients for this disruption in their daily lives over this period.”
