Alleged TikTok bully Anushka Braaf appeared in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates Court on Wednesday, when more charges were added to her name.

This is according to a spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Eric Ntabazalila, who confirmed that an additional charge of assault had been added against the 23-year-old accused.
Yesterday, the matter was adjourned to 13 October in order for the state to provide the defence attorney with further particulars.
Braaf was also excused from attending court until the state needed her testimony.

Her arrest came on 28 August after a TikTok video of her allegedly assaulting Mishqah Arend went viral, resulting in charges of assault and crimen injuria.
In the video, she is heard accusing Arend of speaking about her and asking her whether she wants to be beaten up before using her fists to do so, leaving Arend with a bloodied face.

The accused later apologised on TikTok, stating that she had not eaten for three days because she was not proud of what happened.
