Two tourists were brutally attacked while visiting Wemmershoek, an area located between Paarl and Franschhoek. According to Ian Cameron, the Head of Safety for AfriForum, the tourists were attacked by three suspects while staying in a cottage on the farm.

The attack took place on the morning of Tuesday, February 11.

Cameron added that no weapons were stolen, as is typical with attacks that occur on farms.

The tourists’ home country has not yet been revealed, nor their identities. The condition of the tourists is also unconfirmed at this time.
