Local Cape Town fishermen caught a substantial amount of fish at Surfers Corner at Muizenberg beach on Monday, 21 February.
According to a video shared by a Facebook user, the fishermen can be seen removing the large fish from the net and transporting them to the shore.
The enormous catch comes exactly, 52 days before Good Friday, a holy weekend that many Christians celebrate by eating fish (pickled fish), a tradition that has been in existence for years.
