Members attached to the Cape of Good Hope SPCA have rescued and released hundreds of starfish that washed up on Clovelly beach near Fishhoek on Wednesday, January 5.
In a video shared by the Cape of Good Hope SPCA, hundreds of starfish were seen on the shoreline of the beach.
The three minute video shows how members separate the dead starfish from the live ones in containers and then transport them to the Simon’s Town harbour where they were released back in to the ocean.
