As of 1pm today [May 20] the Western Cape has 5967 active cases of COVID-19, with a total of 11072 confirmed COVID-19 infection and 5105 recoveries.
Unfortunately, the Western Cape has recorded an additional 28 COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus in the province to 211. We extend our condolences to their loved ones at this time.
