While this work is undertaken to enhance water infrastructure, residents in the affected areas are urged to prepare accordingly for possible disruptions.
On Tuesday, 12 March, maintenance will occur in Cherrywood Gardens, Roundhay, Lionviham, Kalamunda and Audas Estate (Somerset West) from 10am to 4pm.
Then, on Thursday, 14 March, Somerset Ridge, Westridge in Somerset West and Audas Estate in Bizweni (Somerset West) will be affected from 9am to 4pm.

The maintenance includes zero-pressure tests and conditional assessments to ensure the optimal functioning of the water supply network.
Residents may experience low water pressure or temporary water loss during these tests, aimed at installing pressure management technology and assessing the effectiveness of pressure-reducing valves.
Additionally, Schaapkraal – Philippi will see maintenance work on Thursday, 14 March, from 10am to 5pm.
A water meter installation on the corner of 11th Avenue and Strandfontein Road necessitates shutting off the water supply between 11th Avenue and Boundary Road and surrounding areas.
The City assures residents that a water tanker will be available for domestic consumption during this period.
Residents are advised to store enough water in advance and keep taps closed to minimise water loss or damage when supply is restored.
