The tournament, which took place over six days, included 32 teams competing in the prestigious under-19 soccer event.
Kicking off at Erica Park in Belhar, the tournament witnessed fierce competition as teams battled through group stages, quarter-finals, semis and ultimately, the championship clash at Athlone Stadium.
Praising the success of the tournament, Councillor Patricia Van der Ross, Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Health, commended the organisers and stakeholders for their tireless efforts in ensuring a smoothly-run event.

She expressed the city’s pride in hosting the tournament and extended congratulations to all participating teams and spectators for their enthusiastic support.
The final match drew an impressive crowd of 9800 spectators.
