This comes following a very successful annual Toughest Fire Fighters Alive competition in Mossel Bay over the weekend, which saw the Mother City’s representatives prove to be a force to be reckoned with.
The competition was attended by over 250 firefighters from over 20 of South Africa’s municipalities, including Gauteng, West Rand, Midvaal, Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, JB Marks Municipality, as well as Drakenstein Municipality, Garden Route District Municipality, West Coast District Municipality and Stellenbosch Municipality, to name but a few.
A series of time trial courses were setup that tested the various physical disciplines and fitness levels of firefighters.
