On Thursday morning, Siba took to Instagram to share the news that her restaurant, Siba The Restaurant, had recently hosted Amal Clooney and the Clooney Foundation for Justice. In her post, Siba writes:
‘We were so delighted and honoured to host Amal Clooney and the Clooney Foundation for Justice at @siba_the_restaurant.’
Amal’s visit to Cape Town came after the launch of the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s new fellowship programme for early-career women lawyers across Africa. The fellowship offers an annual salary and an opportunity to work with leading human rights organisations on gender justice.
