Diep River detectives are investigating a case of triple after three men were shot and killed on Wednesday, 30 in an informal settlement in Southfield in Cape Town.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, police were called out to the scene where they found three victims lying face down on the ground with gunshot wounds to the head.
“The victims aged 42, 43 and 47 had been shot in the heads. Information gathered on the scene suggested that a group of armed suspects with flashlights stopped their vehicles close to the crime scene at 10 pm, approached the victims on foot and fired several shots,” Potelwa said.
Potelwa further indicated that the suspects subsequently fled the scene and are yet to be arrested and the motive for the murders is yet to be determined as investigators continue with the investigation.
