The Hawks in the Western Cape are seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects allegedly involved in a spate of bank robberies that have taken place since November 2021.
According to Hawks’ spokesperson Zinzi Hani, eight bank robberies have been committed by the alleged suspects.
“Standard Bank and ABSA branches in the Western Cape have been targeted. The team believes that the eight incidents are related.
“The Hawks’ National Priority Violent Crimes team is investigating these matters,” Hani indicated.
Hani went on to say that one of the suspects was described as tall whilst the other one as short.
