Neighbourhood Artist Auditions
Artists will be auditioning to become part of the supportive busker programme, gaining the opportunity to perform at the V&A Waterfront throughout the year.
Spend some time enjoying the entertainment from talented musicians, choirs, dancers, poets, circus and balancing acts, magicians and a host of local entertainers throughout the two-day audition process. The artists who make it through will have access to the V&A’s busking sites and its business-development and mentorship initiatives. Interested performance artists can apply to audition.

V&A Record & Vinyl Fair – Easter Edition
Saturday and Sunday are for the music you’ve been longing for! The two-day Easter edition of the V&A Record & Vinyl Fair promises to bring you some banging live DJ tracks as you sift through more than 6,000 top-notch vinyl records from over 30 traders.

V&A Kids’ Market – Easter Edition
The V&A Kids Market is also back, and it’s the perfect platform for kids to showcase their creative skills. Come and support these young entrepreneurs as they learn how to run a profitable venture while having loads of fun doing it.

Galileo Open Air Cinema

Karien de Waal presents: Join Bands Not Gangs Easter Concert
Join Bands Not Gangs is a non-profit that uses music to help fight gangsterism in the Cape Flats and beyond. The organisation’s Mentors Band will be performing on Easter Saturday, alongside the gospel-vocal style Friendship Choir.
The preceding act features Heatherley Court Youth Band, made up of 12-to-15-year-old learners, delighting audiences with melodic sounds.

Perfect Fifth SA
Perfect Fifth SA will be doing a special Easter performance. The band which was formed in 2015, when its members were still school kids, continues to inspire the community, especially the youth, showing them that dreams do come true.
Perfect Fifth consists of Alex van As, Harry Kangeza, Ryan Nolan, David Jacobs and Samuel Frans.

Easter Bunny Photo Op
Kids are invited to take a photo with the friendly Easter Bunny at the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre.

Face Painting – Easter Edition

V&A Family Egg-scape
If you’re feeling competitive, get involved in the V&A Family Egg-scape. Register to take part on one of the sessions in this exciting family-friendly day filled with team challenges and lawn games. You’ll get to try your hand at Giant Scrabble, Giant Jenga, boule, croquet and badminton.
There’s also an Easter egg hunt and lots of prizes to be won!
