Umbhau worked alongside rising star Jenna Ortega, an American actress who plays the main role, Wednesday Addams.
Umbhau described her biggest stunt-doubling job in her career – her work on “Wednesday” – and her collaboration with Ortega as an extremely positive experience.
Speaking to News24, Umbhau refers to the production being shot in Romania: “It was great. It was new cultures, different country, different people.”
To secure the job, Umbhau also had to go through an audition process: “I had to send through my stunt showreel, and [Ortega] had to approve who she wanted to be her double. But it was wonderful working with her.”
“She’s such a sweetheart, you know. She was eighteen at the time when we were shooting,” Umbhau continues.
The show’s Netflix debut saw over 50 million viewers streaming 341 million hours in the first week.
