Sit the Folk Down’s intimate pop-up music events create an experience where people feel like they’ve witnessed something special.
Each Saturday in January, STFD brings some of the best musicians to the Folk Cafe in St James to perform a mix of original compositions and classic cover songs.
Sit the Folk Down started as a project to reignite a passion for regional music and live music culture by bringing music to unique venues for local music fans to enjoy.
Over the years, it has grown to become a trusted source for organising live entertainment, music management, studio needs, and event needs.
The main goal of STFD’s pop-up music events is to arrange concerts in unusual settings so that attendees leave with the impression that they experienced something special.
