Eleven people, including seven adults and four children, were killed in a collision between a bakkie and a heavy motor vehicle on the N7 last night.

According to the Western Cape Mobility Department, the accident occurred about five kilometres outside Klawer in the direction of Van Rhynsdorp at around 8:05pm.
The cause of the accident was not clear at the time of publication.
The N7 has been closed between Klawer at the Engen 1Stop and Van Rhynsdorp.
