According to IOL, Colonel Andrè Traut, Western Cape police spokesperson, said the incident also claimed the life of a 20-year-old man in Canal Road in Athlone.

The suspects responsible have fled the scene and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
‘The suspects are yet to be apprehended. We urge anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or use the mobile application MySAPS anonymously,’ Traut emphasised.
