The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate will resurface Constantia Main Road and a section of Alphen Hill Road over the next few weeks.
The process will begin on 2 December and conclude on 22 December. The work will happen between 9am and 3:30pm on weekdays and 7am until 6pm on Sundays.
Traffic will be directed in one direction during the day to avoid the resurfacing works.

‘I am happy that our Roads Infrastructure Management team is able to resurface this busy main road before the end of the year,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
‘We are committed to providing the residents and businesses in the area with quality roads and ask that those making use of this road, remain patient while the roadworks are underway. Soon commuters in the area will be able to benefit from the new road surface along Constantia Main and Alphen Hill road.’
