The South African Police Service (SAPS) has appealed to the public to help trace two suspects who are connected to a shooting incident that happened on 25 May, 2023 in Constantia.

The investigation dates back to 25 March 2023, when the bodies of two males and two females were discovered in Constantia, Cape Town. The victims, believed to be Bulgarians, were killed by gunshot wounds.
According to reports, six suspects were ‘spotted fleeing the scene in a blue Hyundai and white VW Golf GTI’.
Two individuals were later seen ‘under a bridge on the N1’, driving a white VW Passat and the same VW Golf GTI from the crime scene.
The SAPS believes that the two individuals in the photo can assist the SAPS in the murder investigation.
During the investigation, it came to light that one of the victims of the shooting was Krasimir Nikolaev Kamenov, a fugitive wanted by the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol).
It was alleged that Kamenov (55) ordered ‘the murder of a former police officer from Lozenets’.
The prosecutor’s office also accused him of being ‘complicit in a conspiracy to discredit high-ranking magistrates and police officers’, as reported by Radio Bulgaria.
The investigation also uncovered a connection between Kamenov and Ruja Ignatova, founder of OneCoin, also known as OneLife, a ‘fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme’ established in 2014.
Ignatova is also currently among the top ten most wanted suspects by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States.
