The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Energy, Councillor Beverley van Reenen, recently visited one of Team Cape Town’s energy pioneers Rubicon which is currently helping to ‘drive the vision of green economy job creation’.
This is according to a recent media statement released by the City.

Rubicon is a vertically-integrated sustainable technology company with a footprint of 23 facilities, that spans more than 30 000 sqm in size while employing more than 550 people.
APEX, a subsidiary of Rubicon, is a product development house that ‘develops, designs and manufactures equipment and software services’ for the renewable energy industry, with the team currently developing APEX Cloud Services.
This is to manage renewable energy equipment in the field, as well as microgrid controllers, inverters, batteries, and geyser controllers.
